Houston City Council passed the Bradford-Burks-Brown Amendment to raise the city of Houston property tax homestead exemption for senior citizens. This Amendment will provide tax relief to senior citizens who own homes in the city of Houston. It was good to have the KWTP pitch in and help pass the Bradford-Burks-Brown Amendment. Thanks to Council Member Helena Brown for co-sponsoring the amendment, and to Kingwood’s own City Councilman Dave Martin for voting for it.
